Four more companies are set to join the UK’s leading Internet trade association to benefit from the membership.
Leading interactive service provider AOL Broadband provided by TPH Services Sarl’ has joined ISPA as a corporate member, separate to AOL UK and will be able to take full advantage of ISPA’s organised events and new business opportunities.
Founded by U-Net, one of the first and most successful UK Internet Service Providers- Simply Mail Solutions is an email hosting company offering a range of innovative, reliable and effective email packages. They will enter ISPA in the small member’s category, which will give them the opportunity to keep up to date on regulatory information.
The hosting service provider iDAQ provides a wide range of Internet services. Their customer base stretches around the globe and includes the UK, Europe, Asia and the US. They too will join the organisation in the small member’s category.
Also joining ISPA this month is Lawyers Online, a specialist ISP dedicated to the legal profession. They offer a wide range of services from connection and hosting to security and hardware.

ISPA published two best current practice (BCP) documents, both hitting the headlines this month.
The BCPs advise members on current industry issues and best practices for dealing with them.
The first deals with Unsolicited Bulk Email (UBE), more commonly known as spam and can be found here.
