Tim Snape, Managing Director, AbbTel Limited

Tim Snape was elected to ISPA Council in 2000. He chairs the ISPA sub-group on law enforcement and is the ISPA UK representative on the EuroISPA Council. He also serves on the Government Office of the South West's Innovations Initiatives Steering Group.

He formed AbbTel Limited in May 2002 as a joint venture between Abbotsbury Software Limited and Future Consulting Limited to provide broadband connectivity to rural areas.

Mr Snape is a founder member of the Internet Crime Forum and specialises in cyber-crime, data protection, regulatory compliance and security issues within the Internet industry. He was an industry expert at the recent G8 Industry/government conference in Tokyo.

Mr Snape has filed over 20 patents and received Tomorrows World's Inventor of the Year award for 1999-2000.
