Gary Hough, Service Improvement & Regulatory Manager, Zen Internet
Gary joined Zen as Operations Manager in December 2006, bringing with him over 20 years management experience of which 14 has been in a senior capacity. He has been responsible for the ongoing development of exceptional Customer service and technical support within the service provision, customer care, technical support, pre sales consultancy and managed services departments.
Primarily from within the ISP and Telecommunications industry he has worked for companies that include some well know ISP brands including Prestel Online, Breathe Online, Planet Online, Madasafish, Homechoice and many more. He has been instrumental in the set-up of a number of award winning Customer Service and Technical Support structures within these brands and has represented all of these for many years at Industry level including working with the wider ISP community, ISPA, Linx, Government agencies such as the National High tech Crime Unit and regulatory bodies such as Ofcom.
He is a keen advocate for self-regulation and the development of the Internet industry as a whole not just the ISP’s he works for.
Gary has recently taken on a new role of Service Improvement and Regulatory Manager where he represents Zen as their ambassador within the industry and to government.
