The Internet Services Providers’ Association (ISPA UK) has today announced the finalists for the 2015 ISPAs, the UK’s premier and longest running internet industry awards which shows the true diversity and strength of the UK Internet industry.

There are 44 shortlisted companies across the 15 categories announced today, with two new broadband awards and more companies than ever entering the Best Superfast Broadband Award. The Customer Choice Award also had a record number of entrants seeking their customer's ratings.

Hyperoptic  lead the way with 6 nominations whilst Exa Networks, and Keycom have 5. Catalyst2 has 4 and Entanet, Memset, Spectrum Internet and Wessex Internet each have 3 nominations. With such a broad range of shortlisted providers, the ISPA Awards has a shortlist that represents the breadth of the UK Internet industry.

ISPA Secretary General Nick Lansman said “Congratulations to all those shortlisted for the 2015 ISPAs. With ISPA celebrating its twentieth anniversary, the long running ISPA Awards continues to reward those who help connect consumers and businesses and underpin our economy and society. These awards are the most rigorous and independent in the sector, with millions of tests carried out and direct input from customers. I look forward to the unveiling of the winners in July.”

Entrants in the broadband and hosting categories underwent two months of rigorous testing by ISPA’s technical testing partners, thinkbroadband, while Malden Electronics carried out the testing for Best VoIP. Using these results, and the written entry forms, an independent penal of industry veterans will decide the winners. Only those companies that entered and subjected themselves to the technical testing or submitted a written entry form have been shortlisted.

The 2015 ISPAs ceremony will be held in the prestigious Brewery in the City of London on Thursday 2nd July and tickets for the event are available here. Finalists may licence logos to publicise their shortlisting and more details are here.

ISPA would like to thank the sponsors Halon (sponsor of Best Business Customer Service), Magrathea Telecom (sponsor the Best VoIP) and Tagadab (sponsor of Best Use of Digital) for their valued support.
