INCA is delighted to announce that Mark Collins, co-founder and director of strategy at CityFibre will join a fantastic panel of speakers at INCA's Brighton Roadshow on 19th April. CityFibre has an ever-expanding portfolio of 'Gigabit City' projects in the UK.
Mark will join Phil Jones of Wired Sussex, Shaun Fensom of the new Brighton DX project, plus speakers from Hyperoptic and local wireless ISP Metranet. Their focus will be on building the new ultrafast networks that are rapidly becoming a must-have for cities keen to develop their 'smart city' status and to encourage business growth, particularly in the creative, digital and IT sectors.
Mark Watson of Brighton and Hove City Council, Simon Hughes of Mid-Sussex Council and Paul Brewer of Adur and Worthing Councils will explain why getting the best digital infrastructure is important for economic well-being and improving public services.
Seminar chair James Saunby of GreySky will lead a panel involving Cambium Networks, Satellite Internet and HellermannTyton discussing some of the challenges of deploying new networks, maximising the benefits and getting superfast broadband out to the most rural areas.
Malcolm Corbett, CEO of INCA said:
"This tremendous line up of speakers shows the importance of Brighton and Sussex on the UK's digital map. Seminar participants can expect an excellent debate about how we encourage the development of this new digital infrastructure and the impact it will have on the city and surrounding areas."
The event in Brighton is being hosted by Wired Sussex at their premises at The Fusebox in central Brighton.
