How far can fibre stretch? Maximising deployment across the UK’s rural communities – ISPA roundtable with Networks Centre

October 29 @ 10:00 am - 12:00 pm

The UKs fibre market has accelerated deployment across the UK, however despite significant progress, over 18% of the UK population remain without access to full fibre broadband—a gap most pronounced in rural and remote communities. To address this, ISPA UK is convening a strategic roundtable, bringing together leading fibre network operators still deploying to rural areas, solution providers, and rural deployment experts for a focused two-hour discussion exploring the strategies that will result in the maximisation of connectivity for rural communities nationwide.

The session, kindly hosted alongside ISPA partner Networks Centre,  will serve as a platform to share practical insights, lessons learned, and forward-thinking strategies for efficiently accelerating fibre deployment in the UK’s most challenging areas. Attendees will explore both persistent obstacles and emerging opportunities, with a view to driving collaboration and innovation in rural connectivity.

In the discussion will will explore some of the most pressing priorities, including:

  • Accelerating rural full fibre installation
  • Deployment & technical challenges
  • Crucial value of support & established expertise
  • Stakeholder collaboration & engagement with local communities
  • Maximising reach while managing operational and capital expenditure constraints

Join ISPA and other senior delegates on Wednesday 29th October for a day of in-depth discussion that could help your own rural deployment thrive. Delegates will also be welcome to join us for a networking lunch after the discussion. If you are interested in attending please reach out to krystian@ispa.org.uk for more information.
