Today, the Internet Service Providers’ Association (ISPA UK) reveals the finalists for its prestigious 2025 ISPA Awards. This year’s edition of the popular event includes a whopping 20 categories that truly represent the width and depth of the internet industry. The winners are set to be announced on Thursday 13th November at City Central at the HAC in London, with tickets now on sale.
In a landmark 30th anniversary year for ISPA UK, these Awards come as the sector achieves gigabit-capable broadband connections for 84% of residential and commercial properties. Providers are focused on rolling out new infrastructure in a landscape of market consolidation, alongside other priorities such as online safety, fraud, digital inclusion, and weathering technological change.
This year has seen a tremendous amount of interest from across the sector with a record 50 separate organisations nominated across 17 of the 20 categories shortlisted today - the Internet Hero and Digital Inclusion categories will be announced later this year. ISPA wants to pass on its congratulations to Gigabit IQ, Glide and KCOM who all received 5 nominations; special mentions to Community Fibre and WightFibre with 4 nominations and 4th Utility : Rise, Cerberus Networks, Exa Networks and Truespeed Communications who received 3 nominations. All worthy efforts that ISPA UK, as the voice of the UK’s internet industry, looks forward to celebrating alongside peers from across the sector at the 2025 ISPA Awards.
“The 2025 ISPA Awards are fast approaching, and I'm incredibly excited for what is always a standout moment for our industry. Our 30th year has been a great success so far, with numerous conferences and the launch of our consumer report on priorities for the telecoms sector. The Awards will provide a fantastic conclusion to this year, with a shortlist that truly showcases the strengths and innovations that are driving our industry forward.
I am very much looking forward to joining colleagues and peers on the 13th November. It will be a wonderful occasion to toast these incredible achievements and collectively celebrate the successes of our industry,” commented Steve Leighton, Chair, ISPA UK.
