Altnets Roundtable – Deploying Fibre to MDUs: Understanding the Engineering Challenges of MDU Fibre Deployment

Join ISPA and our procurement consultant partner Altnets for an in-depth roundtable on the engineering challenges and opportunities of deploying MDU networks on Thursday 5th September at ISPAs head office (Clarity, Zetland House, 5-25 Scrutton st, London, EC2A 4HJ).
Titled ‘Deploying fibre to MDUs - Understanding the engineering challenges of MDU fibre deployment’, this session will focus on central questions including:
- What are the biggest engineering challenges you face when deploying MDU networks?
- What are some of the main objections from residents you face when deploying internal MDU fibre?
- How can developing MDU networks present a commercial opportunity to your network?
- What solutions would you find most effective to enhance the technological aspects of your build and overall revenues?
This roundtable will be followed by a lunch for all attendees, kindly hosted by Altnets.
Please note, this roundtable will not explore the current issue of MDU wayleaves or access, and will purely focus on the engineering and build of MDUs.
