Every year the UK’s leading female comedy community Funny Women celebrates International Women’s Day 8th March. This year, Funny Women is proud to announce that it will deliver its own innovation in workplace comedy night ‘HERlarious’ on Tuesday 12th 17:30 - 20:30 March at London ExCel, at the heart of the UK’s largest technology exhibition.
At Techerati London 2019, Funny Women is delivering a special Women in Tech edition dubbed ‘Techerati HERlarious’: providing a series of empowering workshops, panel discussions and headline entertainment.
The event will explore ways to express ideas more confidently and freely using humour, and provide insights and inspiration for building a career, starting a business or self-reinvention. Find out how to ‘perform’, write great copy, bring ideas to life and develop techniques to communicate more effectively. Attendees will learn how to create their own ‘material’, tell their own story and become more memorable. To round off the event one of Funny Women’s favourite techies, Deb Leary OBE, founder and CEO of the award-winning Forensic Pathways, will deliver an inspirational talk advocating the power of Women in Tech.
Lynne Parker, Founder & CEO at Funny Women commented: “Women have been the invisible workforce, propping up technological advancement with their attention to detail, dogged determination and sheer hard work. Now we are fast being recognised as brilliant creators, coders, innovators and technicians right across the digital landscape.”
"I am super proud that we are working with Techerati this year to deliver our own innovation in workplace comedy right at the heart of the UK’s largest technology exhibition.”
