ISPA Awards Internet Hero and Villain Finalists Named -
One Week Left to Book Tickets

Lords Mandelson and Clement Jones, Tom Watson MP and the campaigning group 38 Degrees were all nominated for the 2010 Internet Hero and Internet Villain awards categories this month for their different roles surrounding the passing of the Digital Economy Bill.

The highly-prized Internet Hero award is bestowed upon an organisation or individual who has made a significant contribution to the Internet industry in the past year, whilst the dreaded Internet Villain recognises those that ISPA feels have had a negative impact upon the sector.

There is just one week left to book tickets to see the awards presented and to mingle with top industry figures. The night will feature a three-course meal, entertainment from top comedian Bob Mills, the awards presentation itself, and a live band to close.

PlusNet, Magrathea, Eclipse Internet, F-Secure and mquadra.at are all sponsors of the 2010 ISPA Awards.

SIP Trunking from Magrathea - Sponsors of the Internet Telephony ISPA Awards Category

SIP Trunking is the latest product to storm the enterprise IP market. Whilst IP PBX systems have been installed in companies for many years, only recently has the internet service provided via 21CN broadband and leased circuits been suitably stable for voice applications. A SIP Trunk supplies the same link to the PSTN that was traditionally supplied via ISDN circuits and at the same time provides significant cost savings.

Alongside cost savings, the great selling point of SIP Trunks are their flexibility. No longer does your customer need to be tied to their local phone company to provide numbers, with a SIP trunk it is easy to provide numbers from all over the UK and even international numbers direct to your customer's PBX. They also allow extra 'lines' and features to be provisioned, instantly giving great service to your customer and extra revenue to you.

Magrathea provides a SIP Trunk solution that allows you to provide a business grade VoIP telephony service to your business and home office users without the potentially large start up costs associated with becoming a telephony network operator yourself.

All you need to do is choose the package and the tariff, and supply your client with a telephone device. Our service is designed to work with all the leading IP PBX manufacturers. We will give you the account details to enable you to set up this device to send calls to our network and this is all controlled by our easy to use real-time management API.

For further information on SIP Trunking or for information about our products please see our website on www.magrathea-telecom.co.uk or call us on 0845 004 0040.
