ISPA Data Compliance Workshop: Breach Notification, Privacy and the GDPR

Join ISPA for an exclusive ISPA Members Compliance Workshop, jointly hosted with Kemp Little and the ICO.

Communication Service Providers are required to comply with a variety of privacy, data protection and breach notification requirements and the regulatory landscape is changing rapidly. The GDPR will become law in May 2018 and will significantly increase the obligations placed on a range of companies, while the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) will increase its auditing process for the Privacy, Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR), with a particular focus on medium-sized and small ISPs providing consumer services. All this means that providers need to step up their efforts to ensure they are fully compliant with the relevant rules and regulations.

At the ISPA Compliance Workshop, ISPA Members will have the opportunity to hear from and discuss with:

• Experts from Kemp Little and the ICO who will outline the current upcoming data protection landscape
• The ICO’s auditing team who will provide advice on how providers can best comply with PECR requirements and what providers can expect if they are audited by the ICO.
• Industry experts who will give a firsthand account of how providers can best ensure that they are ready for data protection compliance.
