This event is an excellent opportunity to hear about what's happening at IXScotland exchange while offering the opportunity to network with other interested parties and industry professionals.
LINX launched IXManchester in 2012 and in addition to IXScotland in Edinburgh, it has since opened a further location in North Virginia, USA called LINX NoVA with IXCardiff in Wales due to go live this autumn. It is planning to establish further exchange points in the future in a number of other regions where there is significant Internet traffic.
Wifi will be available, so please bring your laptop or tablet if you wish.
The meeting is planned just for the afternoon, and there will be a social event in the early evening afterwards. All LINX members are invited, as are any on the IXScotland mailing list. Prospective members are also very welcome.
The registration page is here, and registration is now open:

LINX/IXScotland want to use this opportunity to foster the local 'community of interest', so the meeting is open to anyone having an interest in or wanting to support IXScotland. They also want to hear the thoughts of the network operator community, so they will have space in the agenda for lightning talks or 'peering personals' (promoting peering with your network). Please contact Katrina Smith katrina@linx.net if you would like to do this.
The agenda consists of a number of presentations by LINX staff, IXScotland steering committee members and other interested parties. We also want to use this opportunity to foster the local 'community of interest', so the meeting is open to anyone having an interest in or wanting to support IXScotland. We also want to hear the thoughts of the network operator community, so we will have space in the agenda for lightning talks or 'peering personals' (promoting peering with your network).
